The Best Horror Movie of 1996: Scream - Paste

In the movie Scream made in 1996, we follow the story of town serial killer, NoFace terrorizing the main girl, Sidney. After the death of her mother, she is an easy, weak target. While NoFace makes his killings, Sidney begins to be more harassed by the killer. This happens until the final fight scene where Sidney eventually finds out that the killer who has been chasing after her is her boyfriend Billy and his friend, Stu. While Billy and Stu are stabbing each other to fame Sidney's father for all the murders, Sidney and a reporter near the scene help each other to kill the two murders.

Sidney is the final girl as she is seen at the end of the movie to have killed Billy and Stu. Throughout the movie, you see her suffering dealing with the killing of her mother being brought up time and time again, and the harassment from her killer; examples of this is being chased through her home the night after her father leaves for a business trip, being called from her best friend's home, and her best friend eventually being killed.

When the reporter disrupts Stu and Billy from killing Sidney, Sidney makes a move to run.

She hides in a coat closet to trick Billy as Stu is bleeding out in the kitchen. She stabs Billy with an umbrella and drops a television on Stu's head. When Billy goes to stab her, she sticks her finger in the wound to get him off of her to keep fighting for her life. She shows fight from beginning to end in this scene and never just runs away, she stays to fight and make sure that the two boys are dead.
